Attention: Important Notice

Effective July 1, 2014, the Canadian Criminal Real Time identification services will ONLY accept electronic fingerprint submissions for civil purposes (ie., no paper fingerprints).  This new process aims at improving service levels and accuracy of your screening.

Submit your fingerprints electronically and avoid delays.         

*Paper submissions to the RCMP will not be processed and will be returned to the originator.

November 11th, 2011, Public Works and Government Services Canada for Security Screening

Canadian Fingerprint Agency is now able to submit digital fingerprints for the purpose of Personnel Security Screening of applicants in categories such as Reliability Status, Security Clearance, Personnel Security Screening, Control Goods, Contract Security, Organization.


October 17th, 2011 Policy: Vulnerable Sector Checks & Accredited Fingerprinting Companies Canadian Fingerprint Agency is now able to assist Canadian Police Services in the submission of digital fingerprints for the purpose of background screening of applicants who work in the Vulnerable Sector. People such as teachers, coaches and health care workers are included in this Vulnerable Sector group of applicants because of their responsibility for the care of children, handicapped and elderly persons.
